Our first Faith of Our Neighbors event at the Datta Hindu Temple was a delightful and informative time! On Saturday, October 21, sixteen participants from Federation congregations gathered at the Datta Temple to observe a ritual and to hear more about the Hindu faith/philosophy.
Our guide, Indira Chilari, helped us understand what was happening, and explained the basic ideas and practices of Hinduism. The visit concluded with a snack of delicious fruits and nuts, and an opportunity to explore the temple.
Special thanks to Indira and to Datta members Will Bertolette and Daulat Sthankni for helping us arrange this special visit.
