Buddha Birthday Celebration

You are invited to help celebrate the Birthday of the Buddha this weekend at the Tam Bao Temple! Federation and community members have the chance to join this annual celebration this coming Saturday and Sunday (May 18-19). For visitors, this is a time to learn more about the story of Buddha, observe several Buddhist rituals, and to enjoy food prepared by members of the Temple.

SCHEDULE:
Friday, May 18
– 5:00 pm: Birthday Dinner
– 7:30 pm: Celebrating the Life of the Buddha, Birthday Cake and Songs

Sunday, May 19
– 10:30 am: Memorial Service to pay respect to ancestors
– 11:00 am: Buddha Ritual Celebration
– 12:30 pm: Community Lunch

Registration is not required, simply come and participate as you are able!
